Im thinking about it, everyone who is my mentor is doing it, I guess I need to grow into it.

So now that my career is taking one giant leap forward, I am learning that the best way to cope is to market yourself as much as possible and forget about the politics of daily life.

As I learn that you cant please everyone and no one actually really cares unless they really love you, or they are absolutely inthralled in being malicious and evil... Either way, one has to bite the bullet... so... Twitter is on.

Find me on Twitter, as it has been 2 days, and I am still getting used to it. Its kinda evasive one thinks, but I guess I need to be smart about it.

REVIEW: Transformers - Revenge of the Fallen

So in an unusual event, Japan receives a movie before the US, and a blockbuster to boot. Unfortunately even so, agreements are... We can not say anything about it 'till opening day. Well It is opening day... Technically.

As a long time fan of the original series on TV, I can say it was a relief seeing old names pop up, and the action well paced, the only drawback in this installment is that the film’s interesting points only lasts for the first half of the film.

The movie starts with the revelation that this is not the first time Humans and Cybertronians have met. The opening sequence sets the premises for the rest of the film. Then it flashes back to the present, 2 Years after the Autobots defeat the Decepticons, and their existence on earth is still secret covered-up by the governments of the world.

The opening action scene is in Shanghai, and sets up the relationship the special military units of the world have with the Autobots. And it is a doozy as the camera jerking that was the complaint of most fans in the first movie are handled much much better. And then we start the mystery of why the Decepticons are still on Earth, and why is their activity increasing?

Sam Shia LaBeouf) tries to escape the weirdness of having Bumblebee laying low in his Garage while he prepares to go off to college, Sam or his parents don't want Bumblebee around anymore. A great reality check and change of character from “Wow, I have a car! And it’s an alien” to, “Oh I am bored with the whole Alien thing and I need to grow up, and get over my fear of saying I love you to my super hot Girlfriend Mikaela (Megan Fox)” Which is all true! (considering her opening shot portrays her as a sex goddess leaning over a motorbike, and if you saw the pictures of the red carpet arrival is well deserved.)

The story of the Primes is revealed, and the hope of what the All-spark’s powers were able to do are told, which is well done, and convincing giving a great bridge between the two films. But as a shard that was stuck in Sam’s clothes falls to the ground transfering alien symbols and info to his mind, and sparks the drama between himself and Mikaela and an interesting group of new friends, things start getting lost in explosions and running, and more explosions.

As more and more people are hearing about my next project, I fear sometimes that they may be miss-guiding other as to what this play is about... I would like to explain some things...

When I took on this project the last thing I wanted to be involved in was propaganda. Which this is not. The Crossroads Country is a play about history, hope, and heroes. People who were directly involved in the shaping of what Afghanistan is today, and how their people are struggling to move forward.

As in any Documentary style piece, I tried to look at it form the entertainment point of view, and I saw it, and I took the opportunity to make it more entertaining. As this is not a comedy, there are oddly funny parts.

Drama, is there as well. Astonishment, and a chance to learn something new, or jog your memory of forgotten events past.

Why this play is so fascinating to me is that it is using actual quotes, and actual events that have been well documented in many sources, most of which are US publications, and papers. So when Alec Harris approached me with this play, I was interested. Not because I am an activist in any sort of way, but because it was an interesting story to tell.

Being a part of many productions in recent years, you learn that the number one priority of the project is keeping people interested in the subject matter. And strangely enough when the production went full swing, the subject matter has been getting the top news slots worldwide, and this is what makes my project so exciting. With the help of the Afghanistan Ambassador Haron Amin and Tokyo International Players, this show will be a great one.

So, with this all said, my goal is that just like the Tom Hanks Film, "Charlie Wilson's War", when you leave our show, maybe it sparks an interest to be responsible, read, or research more about the people; the factions; the country; the region; and the world, as you may find out something new around every page turned.

April fools... bad idea, again

So last year I learned my lesson and played an april fools joke that almost cost me a good friend... This year, I stayed quite, forgot about it... and POOF

It went by without a hitch, nothing happened. It was such a boring day, spent the majority of it at dress rehearsals and it was just one of those days, to be honest, nobody else did anything. SO I was happy, but last night I was a little depressed about it.

Last year, it was fun, I had made up a fictional woman... actually ... yeah, lets not go there. It ended up with a cellphone thrown in my face, my parents pissed at me, and that special someone... well confused as to why everyone actually believed it.

Yeah, that one act of silliness caused me a world of hurt in trying to remind everyone it was April fools. Sigh, in many ways I guess, I am glad I didnt have yet another stroke of genius!

Maybe next year.

More BSG- The last 3!

So, here we are the final 3. And here I thought finding out the final cylon was gonna be fun....

SPOILERS AHEAD - DO NOT READ IF YOU CARE!

So, this episode seriously had me yelling at my TV screen yelling out the C word the F word, the "Fracking C word" all in responses to the last 15 minutes of the show.

Dammit! That Fracking Boomer really pissed me off... and all I can do after the waters settled in my mind was think crap, how much more poop (Meant in a good way) can this series dish out for the fans before it's finale?

Crazy, but is it? It makes sense, and something even more makes sense... Boomer/Athenas model the Eights, originally have a specific program. Think about it. If you didn't see the webisodes prior to these final 10, go watch them, cause they give me the hint I need to come up with some conclusions.

READ NOW if you went back and saw the WEBISODES.

What I found interesting and I totally forgot about was what the EIGHT in the webisodes had that same attitude, and her kaniving ways, it makes me think that her personality is like Troy Foster's, but anywho... Boomer and that Eight have the same programming ideas.

What makes Athena (EIGHT) different, if she is?

She is.

Why?

She bore a child.

Why?

.... My only logical answer is, she broke the thread of the programing and made her own mind, and was truly free thinking. Which is how she truly can feel love, and that is somehow why she could have Harah. -Deducted because the two Eights have that "Use love and frack with feelings to get your way manipulation ran between the two"

CAPRICA SIX? Same thing, somehow long ago they said she was different, which is why they called her CAPRICA.

Yes, she did, when? When she sided with the other Cylons to leave the fleet.

Not a free thinking mentality, she went back to her original programming. Ooops!

So thats all we have to say about that crazy nasty stuff. Man, that boomer! And to Frack Hilo, thats gonna leave a scar that will hurt!

Dying leader. Roslin dead? is she the only leader? I keep hearing Adama saying "She is Dying" but isn't talking about Roslin, he's talking about the Galactica. I found it interesting to contemplate that the Galactica will never see Earth.

Daniel, who is Daniel? After talking to my good friend Eric he mentioned hearing that we have seen Daniel only in the pilot.

But he was boxed up they say. So how could he remain. And one word made a little sense. Cavil boxed this model. Ellen Tigh loved him a lot, he was artistic and sensative... Could he be the last of his kind? No resurrection ship. All the rest died on Caprica.

Doesn't seem like the other models knew much about him... could it be a boy?

which means it would make sense that Cavil hated him because he is an old fart! And Daniel is maybe BOXIE? And thats why he called himself BOXIE, cause the other models where boxed, and once they died they wouldn't be resurrected.

And he was the last surviving one, and the only person who had direct contact with him is, BOOMER, but she was still sleeping.

There you have it.

With all the craziness going on, Cavil seems to be the only one who was manipulating the programing of the Cylons, experimenting with the sleeper programs, messing with the final 5, and snap, I think the centurions will give him what he deserves in the end.

But who am I to say how this series is going, WOW, it was a great ride!

Has it been a month already?

And here I thought I was doing well with time management, I am! Don't get me wrong, but alas, its so well constructed that I have no time for the little things anymore.

So, I have completely forgotten about updating my blog, and redistributing my images and graphics over the last 4 weeks, and thats all due to my new found love for Cinema stuff yep, Now besides the acting I do, and occasional modeling gig I am involved in, I decided to delve into the film making process. Bought myself my first ever personally owned video camera (TO THE SHOCK OF ALL, yes I never ever owned my own video cam) and this one is a professional quality cam. And my first morning after I unpacked it, Viola! I made MEESH SCOLDS HIMSELF.

So I got the camera, for two reasons.

1- To film the upcoming webisode series AMY. Written by Alec Harris.

2- To film this summer's big show I am producing, previously known as "THE AFGHAN PROJECT", and now the official working title is "THE CROSSROADS COUNTRY"

Yeah, I woke up this morning, and decided to go see what my cousin Hassan was up to. And found that they released a new song...

Hayou Al Saudi.

Is a football ("Soccer" to the Americans and Japanese) cheer song, that has a very saudi sound to it added with Qusai's rapping art in the middle.

A fun and catchy tune, that just makes me so proud of the new influence Jeddah Legends is bringing about. YOU GO BOYZ!!!

So A new year has begun, and I decided to do something new. I decided to actually have New Year Resolution, and actually stick with them this time. My luck they turned out to be a long list of stuff that just made me more depressed.

Since my birthday, I decided I was going to use the last 2 weeks of 2008 examining what is/and could be wrong with me. It was no easy task since I am one messed up guy (I think), but I told myself it is a challenge, how hard could it be to self critique yourself? Right?

Well It is harder than you think, especially when you love yourself too much... As many will remember it is ALL about Me! SHHhh! Dont tell anyone.

So, this year the obvious:

Try do do everything possible NOT to have another flair up.(Including taking meds.)
Take meds... (PROPERLY!)
Loose weight. (Ambitiously 20KG by April)
Be a nice guy for a change, and try to actually barf rainbows.
Pay more attention to the Studio.
Stop being a drama Queen on productions, and just do the flipping work.
Learn to be a producer for a change.
Remember Birthdays.
Spend less time on the computer, and go out.
Stop going out at 10PM and returning at 6AM. (Basically be in bed by 12AM)
Wake up before noon. EVERY DAY!
(Embarrassing Resolution 1)
(Embarrassing Resolution 2)
Stop taking Taxis. ANYWHERE. (Okay limit them at least)
Learn to Cook.
Learn Japanese, Mandarin, Cantonese (At least 1)
Take all acting jobs that come my way... Even the troublesome ones, because I learned that I learn a lot more from those roles.
Limiting consumption.
Finally... No matter what the excuse is, do my best to become a family man.

Okay, there we have it. Now lets see if I can stick with it... So far 11 days in, and I've been doing pretty darn good. Got myself a personal Trainer, and he is a wonder... He kicks my butt but I never felt so happy to go thru brutal training. And I never thought I would ever say that about YOGA.

So, If there was ever a 20, it would probably be to make the bed every morning-- Sigh.
